Since joining FOCUS in 2012, Anastasia Douglas has worked as a senior policy analyst for a diverse group of clientele. She also manages the analyst and part time staff and handles a variety of management responsibilities for the team. Before joining the firm, Anastasia worked for environmental nonprofit organizations, drafting FOIA requests and research memoranda, and for the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office of Professional Regulation, where she drafted complaints, motions and briefs.
Anastasia graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh cum laude with her B.A. in Political Science in 2007. In 2011, she graduated from Vermont Law School cum laude with a J.D. and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy degree. Anastasia was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 2011. She is vice president of the of Disability Rights Vermont Board and serves as Chair of the Vermont Developmental Disabilities Council.
