The National Conference of State Legislatures’ Legislative Summit is just around the corner! FOCUS will be in Boston on August 4-6 alongside ~5,000 expected attendees, including state legislators, staff, government officials and public policy professionals. NCSL anticipates that 31% of attendees this year will be legislators and legislative staff.
The agenda for the summit includes sessions covering issues from state budgets to cannabis. Artificial intelligence is a topic of multiple sessions – including its use in robotics, legislatures and the energy sector. Additionally, standing committees are considering policy directives and resolutions, which will be voted on at the annual Business Meeting on August 6.
Several members of the FOCUS staff will be at Booth 749 in the Exhibit Hall – be sure to stop by! We’d love to catch up, show you the latest enhancements to our legislative database and services, and of course, give you a pair of our signature FOCUS sunglasses.
